Hi,

Go on - do it!

I went on my first holiday alone last year and was so uptight a couple of days beforehand I seriously thought of asking my doctor sign me off sick! Reason prevailed because I knew she wouldn't. That was only to France.

I enjoyed it so much I went to Calabrai later and have booked Puglia for next year. You will be very well looked after; and on your own as much or as little as you want to be.

You will only regret it if you don't CONFIRM.

Regards

Sylvia

Push the button you wont regret it. I have booked China in September as I have heard great reports about it from other people. I have been to Cuba, Vietnam and S Africa all brilliant holidays. I was very nervous first time but now I book my next one as soon as I get back. Everyone is so friendly and you are looked after by great tour guides. Nothing is too much trouble for them they take all the stress away. I had never been on holiday alone until my husband died 3 years ago these holidays give me lots to look forward too. Tricia

Believe me, I don't think there are many people who have been on JY holidays who can honestly say they didn't go through exactly what you are going through now. For me the first big hurdle was picking up the phone to book a holiday, I picked it up and put it down again more than once before I had enough courage to hold on. The next hurdle was to get myself to the airport, oh how I wished I hadn't booked that holiday. That was 2 short haul and 12 long haul holidays ago and I'm now looking at number 15 and 16 for next year.

Take a big breath, tell yourself "I CAN do this" and go ahead, once you get to the airport and meet everyone else you'll wonder what ever held you back.

I've been to China and loved every minute of it, a good choice. Think Great Wall, terracotta army, pandas, yeahh you're there, confirm!

Hi JJ, I've booked the Inspirational China tour with the Yangtze add-on departing 8th Oct next year. This will be my 8th singles holiday and my 4th with Just You, having been to South Africa and the USA (twice) with them before. JY look after you very well and the accommodation is usually of a good standard. I still keep in touch with people I've met on previous travels, including someone from my first solo trip in 2010, so I'm sure you'll make friends easily. You can also book by phone of course...sometimes it's easier if you hear a friendly voice when you're making that first booking, as a JY advisor will be able to answer any queries you may have and hopefully put your mind at rest! Good luck with the booking!

DO IT !

I intend doing China with JY in December 2014. It seems to be an extremely popular and loved tour.

I've done one JY tour before and it was fab. I'm doing Jordan with JY in April.

Someone said to me recently - YOLO - you only live once !

Please DO CONFIRM. Just imagine what you'll be missing if you don't, wonderful places to see, people to meet. You will be so sorry when the time passes and you haven't taken your courage in your hands and confirmed.

You will have a great time, be well looked after and then be so pleased with the decision to go ahead and book.

Regards

Denise

I did the inspirational china with the cruise add on in October. I still can't believe I have stood on the wall of china. It's a packed tour, lots of early mornings and very full days, as you can see from the itinerary, but so worth it. There are lots of reviews in the review section, with some very useful travel tips. Just go for it.

I booked my first holiday with JY this year and went to China in August and I know how you feel but make that initial step and book it, I guarantee you won't regret it and if you have any questions I can help with re China just ask. I am sure you will have a wonderful holiday and great experience travelling with Just You. Marie

Have just come back from my first trip to Jordan. read about my nerves in this section "Firts Step in A Great Journey?

I was exactly like you ... I went through all the steps to book, on a Wednesday and then chickened out. I spent 24 hours wondering what I was most nervous about: that I would book or that I wouldn't book. On the Thursday, I eventually rang the booking line and ... the help was so pleasant and re-assuring ... I booked by telephone.

Am I glad I went to Jordan in November? Read my comments in the review section and see what you think!

Good Luck with making the right decision for you.

I booked my first solo holiday to Thailand last year. My thoughts were - "it might be the best or worse thing I'd ever done". it turned out to be the latter - one of the best things I've ever done. I met a fellow traveller at Manchester, flew down to Heathrow and met others at the executive lounge and never looked back. Made some lovely friends whom I'n in touch with still and had a wonderful hoilday. I actually gave myself a pat on the back as I drove back from Manchester airport. Go for it. You won't regret it .
