Just back from the most amazing holiday with Just You. For anyone who is going soon - you have a real treat in store. Our Tour Manager, Julie Larson, was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. I will be posting a review in the next few days.

I'm booked for October, really looking forward to this trip. Do let us know about the excursions. I've only booked one of the optional ones so far, know I can book others when I get there but it would be good to know what you thought about them.

Hi Wkdlizzy: don't be nervous. You really will have a wonderful time and you will find lots of people in the same 'boat' as you. You will get so caught up in the magnificence of it all you will soon forget to be nervous!! I'm really quite jealous - would love to still have it to look forward to!!

Hi Katy1717: I did all the excursions except the Snake River Float and the 2 flights (although I did do the helicopter over the Grand Canyon). The only reason I didn't do the Snake River was because I wanted some time to wander round Jackson which is a lovely town. However, the people who did it said it was worth it - not necessarily for the scenery but for the wildlife - pelicans etc. I booked 4 of mine in the UK but you can of course book with your Tour Manager, although you do then have to pay by cash. Having said that, I believe people who booked the helicopter & plane flights in the US were able to pay by credit card if they wished. I personally think the Grand Canyon helicopter flight is a must if you've never done it before.

The Monument valley 4 x 4 is also a must as its the only way you get to see it at its full advantage.

Lake Powell was wonderful. We sailed through Antelope Canyon, which has stunning scenery and sailed back into the sunset. Amazing!

Las Vegas by night is definitely worth doing if you want to see Vegas in its full glory. Plus, as it was our last night all together, nobody really wanted to be on their own.

I hope that helps, but if you have any other questions, let me know. You'll have a wonderful time. Best wishes Olive

Thanks for your words of encouragement olive I'm really looking forward to it but I'm really nervous about it to I've never done anything like this before! I fly 10 th June next year so I've a way to go yet! I am going to do most of the excursions I think tho it's having the money to pay for them!! If you could give us a heads up on where to go n what to do in the places where I'm staying I would Appreciate it, I've looked on net and Denver Colorado is ment to be a really nice city/town so I'd like to check it out..... You could advise me I'm sure as to what you thought about it!! Thanks Liz

To Wkdlizzy

Hi Liz

To be honest - you won't get much time to look around on your own anywhere. That's why its important to do the excursions, if you can and your budget allows.

We didn't see anything of Denver because we arrived at the hotel about 8.30 at night and left early the next morning.

There was time to look around Jackson (if you didn't do the Snake River Float). I opted to do this because I wanted to see Jackson and it is a lovely town so I was glad I did that. But the people who did the Snake River Float said it was worth doing, so you have to decide what you prefer to do.

There is some free time in Salt Lake City on the second day. I decided to visit the shopping mall and ride back to the hotel on the free tram.

As I'm sure you're aware, this is a very full-on trip with hardly a minute to yourself. You'll be up early in the morning and sometimes back to the hotel just in time for dinner. Other times you may get a couple of hours spare time when you get back to the hotel. But, believe me it is all worth it. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

If you haven't read my review yet, it might help (on the review area of the site).

If you need any more help, please don't hesitate to ask

Kind regards, Olive

No - I didn't stay. I got a lift there in the morning - but I only live an hour's drive from Heathrow. Sorry - can't help you there. Have a wonderful time, but don't forget to ask if you have any other questions x

If flying from Heathrow I usually book through Holiday Extras, If you select the "undercover hotel" option you don't know which hotel you are getting until you have booked but do get a very good discount. However you can choose the star rating, i normally select 4 star and in the past have got the Seraton, Renaissance, Arora, Park Inn, and Radisson, all excellent hotels along Bath Road.

If you are driving don go for a park/stay deal saves a lot of cash linking the two together.
