I booked my Christmas break two weeks ago - Christmas at Lake Como. I did this trip last year and can't wait to go again. Fabulous.

The only thing I could find last christmas by the time I was ready to book was near Warwick with another singles holiday co (no names etc but you can guess!)

It was, between the hotel and the so called tour manager, the worst trip ever. I didn't bother to complain, but lots must have, because I got a letter apologizing for the fiasco and a cheque for £40 and a credit note for another £40.

The contrast between the previous year with JY in London and Fred Karno's army in 2012 - that's why I booked in April this year!!

Don't blame you for booking so early after your last year's experience! I have not yet done a Christmas trip, but would love to do so one day. Perhaps next year...
