Has anyone stayed in this hotel - "4-star Hotel Mijas" ?

The TripAdvisor reviews (as ever) are mixed.

I haven't stayed there before but, like you, noticed the mixed reviews on TripAdvisor. Think most of the really negative reviews were in 2008/2009 so hopefully it's improved now. I'm going on 16th May so will found out then. I have mixed feelings about TripAdvisor reviews as well...

You should not take these reviews very seriously. I never look at them. Usually most of the hotels used by Just You are good ones. I did the Andalucia trip in September 2010, but can't remember which hotel we stayed in. I know it was very near the supermarket and the bus stop and it was a good hotel. You will love Andalucia.

I did this hol in Nov 2010 and think its the same hotel (was called TRH Mijas) and it was fine. As Jaya says there is a supermarket near and a bus stop if you want to go to Fuengirola where you can get bus/train to places like Malaga & Marbella (some on our trip did this on a free day).
