Is anyone planning to book a show in Las Vegas? I have taken the plunge and booked ' The Rat Back is Back ' at the Crown Theatre on Tuesday 21st May. Also I have booked a trip to Alcatraz when we are in San Francisco with a 2.40 pm departure on Wednesday 15th May.

Regards Tony

"The Rat Pack is Back" is a great night out, and I would recommend it. However, as I did this holiday three years ago, I am considering one of the Cirque du Soleil shows instead, and am wondering if anyone might already have seen any of the selection offered (O, Mystere, La Reve, KA, LOVE)? Any recommendations anybody?

Thanks,

Steve

I stayed at the Bellagio in Vegas which hosts the Cirque de Soleil ¨O¨ in

October last year.and saw the show. Though expensive at $180.00 a seat it was worth every penny and I can thoroughly recommend it.

Hi Steve, I've heard Love (with the Beatles music) is brilliant but it was sold out when we were there. Hope you see a great show.

All the best,

Bob

@ Bob & Tony,

Thanks for your suggestions. I've had a look at the Cirque du Soleil website, and it would appear that the two shows you have seen aren't available on the intinerary's show evening for the May departure, which is a Tuesday. O only runs Wednesday - Sunday at the Belagio, whereas Love only runs Thurs - Mon at The Mirage. I therfore booked myself an early evening "Category One" performance of Mystere at Treasure Island, as this resort is nearer to the Stratosphere than the MGM Grand (for KA). I've got to be up early the next morning for the Grand Canyon!

@ Kaitakflier - Sincere apologies, I've just realised that you offered a suggestion, whereas it was Tony who started the thread. Thanks once again.

http://www.stratospherehotel.com/Casino/Nightlife/Shows/Frankie-Moreno  If you are a guest there in the hotel you will get the tickets cheaper to. Hes an amazing musican and puts on a fantastic show, well worth watching.
