Most of the Just You holidays are coach based touring holidays, and tend to be much less active than you are looking for. JY do offer a few "resort based" holidays, but I doubt that anyone on these would be seeking the type/level of active holiday you mention.

Solos Holidays do offer singles activity based holidays, and have a younger customer profile than JY, so it may be worth looking at their website.

Other than that there are a number of holiday companies that provide holidays based around cycling, walking etc, although these are open to couples, I've found that by the nature of the activities offered there will be a reasonable number of single people. Tyre searching on cycling or walking or sailing holidays.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I shall take your advise and have a look at Solos Holidays. Not really into coach holidays but having read some of the threads on the JY site they do sound fun. While I still have the energy and youth? I will try for something a bit more active.

Go for Just You holidays, Solos relegate customers by age, i.e. if you are 60 and want a particular holiday, it may well be they decide that holiday can only accommodate 30 - 50 year olds.

With Just You there is a wonderful mixture of ages on all the trips, with the older ones taking the younger ones "under their wing".

Best thing would be to choose where you might like to holiday, then write to "Ask Your Editor" who should be able to give you the ages of people already booked on that particular trip.

I've been on many JY holidays ~ USA and Europe ~ and thoroughly enjoyed every single one.

I'm sure you'll have a great time, wherever you choose.
