This will be my first JY trip and I'm feeling both excited and nervous. Is anyone else booked onto this? Have those that have done this trip before got any advice/tips etc? Would love to hear from you if so.

I did this trip in February - it is fantastic, you will love it. There are quite a few posts regarding India - staying healthy, clothes etc.etc. - if you put India in the search (top right hand page) you will get lots of tips etc.
