Hi Lee, I am on the 1st Nov trip to Thailand (my first time with JY).

One essential to pack is a good insect repelant (one with DEET).

Whilst nearly all of Thailand has a low risk for malaria, the trip to Mai Sai, in the north, will take us into a high malaria risk area. So better to be safe than sorry. Roger

Hi,

I'm on this trip too. Agree about the insect repellent - my practice nurse says that if we are just going to the far North for a day we don't need anti-malarial pills but to use lots of repellent.

See you on Thursday!

Cheers,

Hils
