Anybody else going on this trip ? Would be happy to hear from you. Also, does anyone know what kind of adaptor I need for China ?

Hello Annette

In a previous reply, Ben said that you need to take a Worldwide Universal Adaptor. They are easy to get hold of. Boots sell them and any store such as John Lewis would have them. Don't forget to take 2 pin sockets if you need them for cameras or phones if you need them.

Hi Peter, Thanks for the info, will be looking for my adaptor in due course and if all else fails I'll pick one up at Heathrow. Are you going on this trip ?

Hi Lyn,

Like you I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one on this trip. It's coming round rather quick now and I'm really looking forward to it. This will be my 5th trip with JY and I've enjoyed everyone of them. I'm sure this one will be as good as all the others. I've heard very good reports about it. Where are you travelling from ? I'm coming up from Swansea. Perhaps we could arrange to meet at Heathrow somewhere ? I always feel better once I've met other members of the group. Just look out for the JY luggage labels.

Hi again Lyn, just to let you know I've ordered a travel adaptor from Amazon. They have quite a few to choose from in case you need one.

Hi everyone. I'm on the trip to China on 3 October. I'm used to travelling alone, but I've not been on a Just You holiday before, so I don't know what to expect. Has anyone got any useful advice for me? It will be nice to meet my fellow-travellers, anyway. Do any of you speak any Chinese????

I'm travelling down from Leeds via a link flight - will look out for the rest of you at Heathrow. I've got no idea how to pronounce Xian either - I just spell it out when I tell my friends where I'm going! Should be an exciting trip. Looks like the weather will be rather mixed though - will make packing rather tricky.......

Hi Lyn, I probably won't get there until around 5pm. Will be good to meet up at the airport, makes you feel better once you've made contact with others in the group.

I am also travelling on the trip, looking forward to meeting some of you. I know several people who have already done the trip and said it was great. Does anyone have any plans meeting up at the airport?
