I did Croatia earlier this year (with travelsphere because was with a friend) and its a nice contry, well worth a visit.

I did a holiday at christmas (lake annecy) with JY last time and the age range was towards the older end (at 53 I was towards the youger end, very few below me). Wasn't a problem I'll add but the average age of the group was 10 years older than all the other trips I've done.

Whether thats a trend for christmas holidays I'm unsure because it was also a coach trip and that may be part of the reason more older people preferred it..

I have not done a christmas holiday with JY. The family need me here!!!. What I would say is that when these have been talked about when I have been on tour (I have been on 😎 I do no that these can get booked up really fast so if you want to go I would think about booking it sooner rather than later..Have fun.

If l decide not to go there are so many amazing holidays on offer might go during the following year. Which was your favorite?

mah,

I've done 4 other holidays (other than the Christmas one) with JY and Croatia with travelsphere. Two of my JY trips have been to America and would give "Americas Golden West" the nod over "Parks & Canyons", both great trips though.

As for my Europe hols not much between the holidays but if I had to put them in order (including Croatia) this is how I would rank them :-

1. Treasures of Andalucia

2. Discover Croatia

3. Discover Mallorca

But to be honest not done a bad holiday yet all been good and met some lovely people, one of the reasons I've two more booked this year "Austrian Lakes" in August and "Route 66" in October.

Also considering a Christmas hol again, been looking at Costa Brava, Lake Bled, Northern Cyprus to name three.

I AM 53 SO your age range will be fine you will be on the younger side. My Fav short haul trip would be Austria Lakes, I have also done Tuscany and Poland. Long haul, would be the USA ones I have done 3 there is so much to see and do exhausting but good. Kenyan Safari was amazing the animals were just stunning. Hong Kong and New Zealand was a very long way but so worth it.. I have sen places I would never of seem if not for JY and taken helicopter rise over such fantastic sights..there is a video link above from me Cindy Nixon have a look that might help you think things through..

Any questions feel free to ask away.

Hi mah

I went to the Italian Dolomites & Croatia for last Christmas/New Year. There were 15 ladies and 10 gents in the group plus tour manager and driver. Age range was 40 to 70+.

Hello and Welcome

Why worry about the age range? After all is is just a number. Just pick a destination you always wanted to visit and book it. I did just that when I decided to travel on my own. If you get on well with people of all ages, then you will have no problems at all. I have been on 3 Just You holidays and have a 4th booked for October. Go on, you will have fun!
