Just booked for Vietnam with Cambodia add on for Sep 2012 really looking forward to it. I know it is a long way off but I have a busy year ahead and I believe it is booking up fast. I did Cuba in October and it was a great holiday. If anyone can give me any tips and money needed it would be helpful. I went on this trip (without Cambodia) in October this year. My advice is to only take US dollars, but get as many $1 and $5 notes as you can. Try not to get any old notes as some places can be a bit fussy about them. Everywhere accepts $s and you get change in local currency. Most things are cheap in Vietnam.
