Heck ...this is all new to me.... I have never been on holiday on my own before and I am really quite apprehensive.... I want to go to Argentina and Brazil but no-one I know wants to go. Has anyone been on these trips and are they fully escorted. Crumbs I can't imagine being left on my own in Rio de Janeiro or Buenos Aires.... any advice or tips please before I take the plunge and book.... thanks

I can't do the JY dates this year for this tour, so I've taken the plunge and booked with Travelsphere (the parent company) as a single traveller and I'm going in Sept - the big bonus is that they include 3 days in Chile as well, yippee!!

Have a great trip whenever you decide to travel,

Bob

Hi. I did the Argentina/Brazil trip last October and I have to say it was brilliant. It is very full on - so be prepared for long days but it is full of fun and adventure. Our tour manager was Diego who was so knowledgeable and we were never left to our own devices unless you wanted to be of course. I think everything was brilliant but for me the highlights were Christ the Redeemer in Rio. We also managed to fit in the helicopter around this too. Iguassu Falls are absolutely breathtaking and you must try to do the powerboat through the falls but you will be absolutely soaked. The ranch day in Argentina is also a great experience (did my first horseride). I could go on and on. I have done many JY holidays but this one was very much near to the top of my Top 10.

If you decide to go Enjoy.
