Going to Famagusta in October. I think they now have Euros in Southern Cyprus but does anyone know what currency is used in Northern Cyprus?

Hi, I am going to northern Cyprus on October 4th from Luton. I have been before about 3 years ago with BA from Heathrow, the currency is Turkish Lira, however i also got 15 euros to spend on a drink and a snack in Larnaca airport on the return trip. Do you know if Monarch provide meals on the plane.

Hi Loopylou, thanks for the advice. I see it is still very hot in Famagusta just now. Looking forward to my first JY holiday.

I'm going from Heathrow and we fly BA - so sorry don't know about Monarch.

Have you been on many JY holidays?

I have been on about 13 holidays with JY, Northern Cyprus will be the 14th. I am already considering Bulgaria for next year. I hope that you enjoy the holiday, i am sure that it will not be your one and only holiday with JY.
