I think you will have a great time.. Depending on what type of trip you are looking for. I would suggest just pick something and give it a go. I am going on my 13th trip in August, and I promise you will have a great time. Just You is really a very good little company to travel with and you will make new friends. You will have a Tour Manager with you to assist when required. I have done beach,walking and sight seeing trips and they all have been fantastic. Incidentally I am 50 to lol.

If you are still apprehensive. You could try one of the Discovery weekends that are held around the country. They are a very good weekend trips. Where you will get great and useful information on all types of holidays and destinations

Welcome, just pick a holiday and go for it some start with a discovery break others with a short haul trip I went straight in and did a USA tour, that was five years ago and I have my 8th trip booked for 2012. SO I can reassure you it is fine and BOOK a trip and give it a go. If you have any questions just ask and someone will be able to help you I am sure.

Unlike you and Andy I am just a couple!! years older I am 52.

I just joined after months of moaning that I need a holiday!!! So I'm going to go somewhere hopefully in September. Not sure where yet. I live near Cardiff,S Wales. I'm 50 years of age. Anyone there that can give some advise and reassure me that I'm doing the right thing!!

Like you I'm 50 years old and new to this. Decided to go for it and booked Magic of Kenya 28/09 so now quite nervous but also excited. If you read through all the threads you realise you're not on your own and everyone seems really friendly and helpful. Go for it and good luck! I used to live at Llantwit Major and loved every minute of it!

Hi Pat, Yes you are doing the right thing - go for it and you won't regret it! I went to Greece with JY in May and had a really good time - my first abroad holiday with them.

Hello, I joined yesterday, I'm 52 and terrified of travelling alone. I was considering a discovery weekend but decided to put the cost towards a proper holiday instead. I like Cyprus but this is Northern Cyprus and I've heard bad reports about it so it put me off. So i've booked Adalucia, unfortunately its not untill November.

When you click on reply, a white box comes up with comments in it from the person you are replying to - I simply delete these comments and type in my own, then you scroll down to "post reply" and hit the return button. That does it for me, but not sure what anyone else does - or you can simply add on to the comments that are already in the white box
