Hi everyone,

Am thinking of taking first solo holiday in the autumn to somewhere warm. Young 62 year old - any advice please? Thanks

Any of the holidays around southern europe would be ok (I've done Treasures of Andalucia & Discover Mallorca) which are both ok, but plenty of others to choose from such as Italy, Croatia, Malta, Madeira Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, etc).

Of course you may fancy something further affield.

I'll add at 62 you'll probably be close to the average age of travellers and am certain you'll enjoy what you choose.

Hi, I'm thinking of taking my first solo holiday, I'm 63 and I retired from teaching yesterday. I guess its a case of researching the place you want to visit, make sure if the place you choose needs visas, vaccinations and any typical charges you might encounter. Have you considered a travelling companion?
