Does anyone know what temperature will be like on this walking holiday and is anyone else going?

Hi Penny,

I think there are a couple of trips going in June; I'm booked on the 10th June one.

I did a similar trip (Walks and Castles of the Moselle) to this region in June '09. During the day it was generally quite warm and sunny although we did get a heavy downpour for a few hours on one of the days. I would say the weather during the day was pretty similar to that which we get in England in June however in the evenings, especially after dark, the temperature dropped significantly and it did get really quite cold.

During the day it was t-shirt weather but I'd certainly recommend a jumper or similar for the evenings.

Hope that helps.

Julian

Penny, hope you have a good time in Germany, wish i was going, need a wee holiday to recover from golden west, sorry I never got a chance to say bye, but as I was getting a connecting flight I had to go different way from the rest of you, wish I'd gone with you as I didn't get my luggage til Monday afternoon as it didn't make connecting flight,

Hi ya Sorry to hear about your luggage! But at least it turned up eventually! Really enjoyed the holiday, bit tiring, but well worth it. Now looking forward to Ahr Valley next Friday. Keep in touch, maybe see you on another holiday sometime. Take care.

Hi Steve,

Well that certainly would have brightened your journey home!

The wife was pleased with her handbag, I was going to pretend it was my choice but in the end I did admit to taking the advice of the lady concerned - the wife felt that was a good decision on my part as, for some strange reason, she seems to have little confidence in my abilities in that sort of thing!

Hope your estate agents visit went ok.

Like your choice of username Steve - most appropriate!
