Hi,

I did this trip, together with the Yangtze add on, in early May. The trip is busy from start to finish so you won't be board. It starts when you leave the airport and before you get to the hotel!! Take some travel toilet paper for the public loo's and some hand sanitiser/wipes. There are a lot of steps to be tackled so make sure you have very comfortable shoes. I'm sure you will have a brilliant time, I did!!! Hope this is of some help.

Hi,

I travelled to China with a rival company (sorry) and had a really fantastic time. The people were very friendly and not slow in coming forward. To give an example, I was minding my own business watching the line dancing in the main square at Xian, and the next moment I am pulled into the group by a Chinese lady whose opening words were "How old are you?". They love us 'big noses' (as non-asians are called there)...

Be prepared for a different culture, very different values and a society that does what it wants. I hope that like me you will also see why China is going to be the powerhouse of the world.

Have a great time - John

Hi, I've booked for the same trip and really looking forward to it. This will be my first holiday on my own but reading all the threads it seems everyone had a good time on previous holidays to China.

Morning Pam, Now we have been to China and got back OK, what do you think !, for the trip was first class all the way, from the tour reps, the signs and sounds, the people met, hotels etc.

See you, Ian
