Hi, Anyone going to Sorrento in May. I've been away with JY before and had a great time, so looking forward to making new friends again

Hi Heather

I'm going to Sorrento on the 11th May. It will be my third trip with JY following on from Tuscany in 2009 and Lake Garda last summer. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hi James

Thanks for your reply, my last two trips were Switzerland and Austria so I'm all Alpined out. I haven't been to Italy before, I did quite like the look of the Cities of Italy trip but thought it might be a bit too much coach travel. I've heard great reports of Sorrento so I'm looking forward to going. It's an early start at the airport on the 11th, I'm based in Milton Keynes so not too bad of a journey for me. Look forward to meeting you,

Regards

Heather

Hi Jan

Thanks for your reply. My trip is a little earlier than yours, I go on 11th May. I've been on 2 JY tours and both holidays were lovely. You will find everyone very friendly, after a very short time its like being out with a group of friends. Have fun/

Regards

Heather

Hi Heather

I am going on my first JY trip on May 11th to Sorrento, flying from Stansted. Nervous, but excited having done a discovery weekend and finding how friendly everyone is. I am really looking forward to going round Pompei.

Hi Sharon

I haven't been on a discovery weekend, although I'm thinking of going to Bournemouth later in the year, just for the break. I'm also doing the Paris city break..

I'm looking forward to Pompei too, and also the drive along the Amalfi coastline, it looks beautiful, I'm sure we will all have a great time, not long now!

Hi Heather

I have been offline for a while now and am just catching up. Looking forward to the trip which seems to be getting very close now! I think I will be exhausted when I get back as I am going on all the trips - hopefully will need another holiday to recover!

Hi, Jan, Heather, Sharon & James,

I am not doing this trip until September but I would be really pleased to have some feedback from you all when you get back. I would be grateful for any tips.

I have been to the Dolomites twice at Xmas but not this far South before and I want to see and do everything.

I have always dreamed of doing the Amalfi Drive, so I hope it lives up to my expectations.

I hope you all have a great holiday and look forward to hearing from you when you return.

Be happy,

Best wishes,

Lesley

Hi Lesley

This trip is fantastic. Not too hectic as there are only two full day excursions and plenty of free time in Sorrento. However, if you do want to see Vesuvius, which is well worth it, prepare to wrap up a bit as there was a cold wind when we were there and the temp was 15 degrees centigrade colder at the top. If you want any other infor just ask ;)
