Hi,

I am thinking about going to Vietnam in March next year and wonder if anybody else has been there and can tell me a bit about it.

I was also thinking about a holiday in Vietnam with the possible add on of Cambodia. If I travel this far I feel that I ought to do everything! I wouldn't mind going in March depending on the weather at that time of year.

Went to China in March this year with Just You and had a marvellous holiday.

I note that you must have had your holiday to Vietnam in March of this year according to the date of your message. Did you go? and if so what are your observations?

Hi Girls

i did this trip in October 2006, with the cambodian add on

It was brilliant beautiful scenery history and fabulous hotels all 4star plus

Informative local guides accompanied us through out you realise after visiting vietnam just how wrong the war was and how hideously the americans behaved.

One word about the food though, it is very samey equivalent of a thai banquet every lunch and evening, i went a la carte very often and had great european food at a very good price £12 for 3 course steak dinner.

if you are lucky like i was our guide took an unscheduled visit to "The Killing Fields", after visting S21 in Phnom Penh.

be warned though when you get to Siem rep you will very soon be "templed out"

hope this helps
