am looking to do my first singles' hol this year, possibly to jordan or china. i wondered if anyone has been on one of these hols and what they thought? in addition, does anyone have any recommendations for a first singles' hol - ideas would be most welcome!

i guess having read some emails on here, age appears to be an issue. i am 35 - well ok almost 36! would love to meet people my age, but yes would be great to socialise with everyone. however, any 'put my mind at rest' messages about age would be great.

the hols look great - much different from some other sites and prices are fantastic!

would be lovely to hear from fellow travellers.

I went to China last October with JY and it was fantastic. Always wanted to go to China and I wasn't disappointed. I did the Yangtze Cruise hol and it was my first single holiday. I was the youngest at 32 but it really didn't matter. The ages ranged from 32 to 81 but everyone got on really well and you're looked after all the time you're on holiday. Age really doesn't matter and its great to mix with lots of different people who are all there for the same reason.

I think on the American West hol you would get more people in their 30s but it really depends where you want to go.

I did the Wonders of China last year and it was an amazing holiday.

Ive been on a couple of Just You holidays and have another 2 booked for this year. Dont worry about your age, Im 37 and have always found a really good mix of ages on the trips ive done.

i have not looked at the brochure to be honest too know what else there is other than china. but it is tricky and scarey!

i hope i will pluck the courage to go and you're right age is not an issue as everyone is there to do the same thing. plus it's always nice to be looked out for!

thank you for your message. i am looking at the golden america tour also but without the hawaii add on. my friends think it sounds great and are encouraging me to book! i just ave to make myself do it or i never will. i guess i feel nervous and excited all at once!

having looked at lots of sites for single/group holidays, this looked the most inviting and the holiday selection is great!

and i hear the weather at that time in the US is superb.

i will let you know how i get on and if i do actually book! i hope i do!

Don't hesitate, get in there and book - you will have a great time! I am 41 years old (21 in my mind!)and have been on a couple of JY holidays. I am booked on the America's Golden West and Hawaii in September for my 3rd trip and am looking forward to it. I know that the age range is sometimes a bit of a worry for newbies - I too worried about it on my first holiday - but i shouldn't have - everyone gets along just fine no matter what age they are.

Tuscany next week. I would say just book it you won't regret it. You can always ask when

booking what the age range is - they don't have a problem giving this information out.
