I was on this holiday in April this year and that was my 1st. I booked the pre-meet b&b and met some of the others going on this holiday. Since this was my 1st, I felt better going there as a prelude to the holiday itself. I found this beneficial as a 1st timer. Overall, there were over 30 of us with a wide age spread and there was no lack of company or activities to enjoy while at the same time, the option was always with the individual whether to take part or just do their own thing. Our rep Linda was with us 100% of the time from the pre-meet until we returned to Heathrow. She was superb. If she reads this she'll remember me as 'Bill with the Hat' and have a laugh. All I can say is GO FOR IT!!

Delighted to hear you are coming on Oct 20th. Know what you mean about wanting to feel the sun on your shoulders - I have almost forgotten what it looks like. I am so sick of the horrid English weather.

Well the days are ticking by, we'll soon be able to say 'see you next month'.I'm not doing the pre holiday get together but hoping to get into the Heathrow Hilton the night prior so it's not such an early start ( I work for them so it's a cheap option) What part of the country are you both from? I live in Hertforshire.

I'm down the A1 in Watford (someones got to live here! was hoping to move back to Lincolnshire this year but the house market has put that on the back burner for now.)I have got booked in at Heathrow the night before so no worries about traffic on M25 Monday morning. Are you traveling down on the day or staying in the area.

It's all gone very quiet from Cathy. Pitty a few more fellow travelers haven't logged on, unless it's just us 3 going!

I am still here too ! Just been snowed under at work. All the more reason why I really need this holiday now :-)

I (probably stupidly) am driving down to Heathrow on the Monday morning. Quite excited about going from T5 - have checked out what the duty free shops are !!

Well the time is really ticking away now. Getting excited about getting away and some sunshine but also a little nervous.(Hope I can find you all at T5) We should be getting our final information soon but there are problems at out sorting office so I hope I receive it in time. Any useful tips to pass on Nicky? I have exchanged a small amount of money but have been advised you get a better exchange rate over there.

It's good to see another name. Don't worry Trish, just think that this will be the first solo adventure for a lot of us. I'm getting a bit jittery about the self service check-in as I thought we would be meeting up and doing that as a group but I guess there will be someone around to help if needed. Well I think this will be my last communication via email so see you all bright and early Monday morning.

Well I'm here with some feedback for you but I guess at the end of the day people have different requirements in a holiday. The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere with the only escape from the hotel a small beach bar which had the pleasure of our company every night. It was clearly the end of the season when we went, so no entertainment at the hotel.

We were a group of 47 which I think was too many. The bedrooms were not as I would expect of a 5-star but I did meet some lovely people and that made the holiday.

Thank you for your feedback, and the time taken in giving this information. The most important thing is that you did enjoy yourself, despite the lack of facilities. I have always said that it isn't the location but the people in the group that make the holiday.

However, going by what you have said, I guess I will give this location a miss for the time being. Thank you
