I have just booked Christmas in Edinburgh and wondered if anyone else has booked the same Xmas break. There were only 8 places left so there are a few of you out there! This is my fist time with Just You and it's my very first 'single' holiday so I am a little unsure about what to expect - would love to hear from any other fellow travellers. I've checked out the hotel website and it looks great - as its a 4 star hotel they are charging £75 per head for Xmas lunch alone so given I am getting 4 days half board with Xmas lunch, entertainment, tickets for the Royal Yacht Brittania and a guided walk of the city, use of all the hotel leisure facilities thrown in I think I have bagged a bit of a bargain!

That's great! So pleased to hear from someone who is going for the first time. Like you I'm looking forward to it but I have never really been away like this before at Xmas as I've always done the traditional family get together every year. I've been looking at 'Edinburgh Xmas' brochures on-line and the Winter Wonderland activities they have in the city look pretty good so I think there will plenty to do! Not sure what time we meet at the hotel but I daresay all the info will be coming out soon?
