I did this trip in March/April this year. Take layers, hat, sandals, trainers, wet gear and sun cream! Most of the hotels in NZ have laundry facilities and rooms have ironing boards, irons and selection of toiletries. Lots of time spent on coach, so comfortable day time attire essential.
