I'm Carrie and new to this so please excuse any mistakes. I tried to enter a post last night but it didn't work, so here we go again.

After 3-+ yrs I am new to travelling alone, and to be honest the thought of negotiating airports and their procedures absolutely terrifies me.

There are so many places I want to visit, Niagara Falls being my choice for this year. Are there any planned holidays there in Sept/Oct this year?

I would like to hear from people going to Niagara Falls at this time of year, or in fact anyone wanting to visit Capital cities throughout the world.

I look forward to many chats with other single travellers and maybe meeting up with anyone in the Redditch/Stratford upon Avon area withthe same travell-lust.

I was a little like you about 3 or 4 years ago, And had not travelled on my own. However after picking a short holiday I have never looked back. And I have now been on ten holidays with Just you. Niagra Falls would be a nice trip, And I have been there several times. You would need to check the Just You web site or request a brouchure to see if there are dates that suit you. What I can say is on all the 10 trips I have been with Just You, I have enjoyed them all. Also my fellow travellers have all been great. It is also a good way of making new friends.. So check out the brochures and pick something. The choice is wide and varied.

When I booked last November weather was cool but dry. Apparently the average is 7c, November average high 11c low 1c. Rain 10 out of 30 days. The website I looked at recommended wearing layers.

When I booked 5 other people had already booked so there is at least 6 of us!! This is just a taster for me as I fully intend doing Vancounver and maybe the alaska add on next July.

In the meantime looking forward to 19th May when I go to Andalusia. Also toying with the idea of Tuscany in June.

Forgot to mention yes I am going with Just You on all the holidays I mentioned in my previous message. My first was a 4 day break in Cheltenham at New Year and I had a fantastic time.

I am also going on this trip 1st November (for my birthday on the 3rd).

I've been to Niagara Falls in November before and it was lovely, little cold, but sunny. Falls are beautiful and I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

I've just noticed on the website that the departure date now shows 31st October. Have you heard anything from Just You - I haven't.

Did notice on the airlines website that they didn't fly on the 1st Nov.

I sent a email to customer services and they replied saying that a letter will be going out shortly. It has changed to departure on the 31st October. flight time is however different, according to the airline site it's 10.45.

I spoke to Customer Services Saturday, hoping to stop at my nephew's in reading that weekend and will travel to airport from there. What part of the country do you live in, I am in Newport South Wales.

I live in South London, just outside of Croydon. Only 15-20 mins on the train to Gatwick.

I've had a letter from JY this week advising of the changes.

Maybe near the time we can arrange to met up at the airport and see if we can check in together.
