Has anyone else booked this holiday yet? Has anyone got any tips for this holiday and do we need walking shoes?

Hi. I went on this fantastic holiday in February. You will be in and out of small boats and walking on rainforest trails, so you don't need walking boots as such, but I took trainers and trekking sandels - if you do the Night Safari your feet will get wet! Also suggest you take very good earplugs for the hotel in San Jose! Enjoy!

Hi Hils - thanks for the info, good to hear someone has done the trip. I hope other people going will consider writing in this forum. So anyone out there going on this trip, please post a note. The only thing re this trip is the length of the flight in basic seats. 3 hours to Madrid and a further 13.5 hours to San Jose. Shame they cannot upgrade us, if enough book this trip.
