Magic of Kenya april 28 Hi my name is Christine. I am travelling on 28th April with my friend Angie. Really worried about whether or not to have the yellow fever injection. Know it is not needed for Nairobi and Mombasa, but heard if you are on Safari it is mandatory. Just You would not answer any medical questions. But my GP and Angie's surgery said it was not necessary. Also my passport seems to have been with Just YOu for a long time. Sure I am worrying unnecessarily. They are such a brilliant company sure everything will be ok. Please get in touch. Also we are going in the rainy season, but so excited I am wetting myself. Travelling from Heathrow.

Hi

I went on this holiday last year in June.

I had the yellow fever injection it cost £45.00. You will get proof of the injection from your health cenre. They might just pick on you at the airport in Kenya and if you don't have your proof of vaccination you might not be allowed in.

I would get it done, it will last for 10years and it could be needed in many more countries.

magic of kenya April 28th. l Thank you so much for your message of re-assurance about the magic of kenya april 28th. You do not need to worry about travelling lone. Angie and I are are normal people. Have known her for 22 years. Worked at the same University, our sons are the same age. Thanks for you yet also. A bit annoying as I want to go to France for a short weekend to visit one of my son's parents. Think I might ring JUst you this week end coming. Looking forward to meeting you and fellow passages in the executive airport lounge at Heathrow. Here we go tigers, giraffes and elephants. Christine

After all the panicking. Mine and Angie's passport arrived safely back at my house last Thursday. Postman knocked needed a signature. Angie and I have not had the yellow fever injection yet, as both our doctors surgeries are saying it is not mandatory. Mine is in Brackley, Angie's is in Newport Pagnell, so think we will not bother to have it.

Also another question, you have to pack two bags, one for safari, and the larger one a case will be sent on to your beach resort, in our case Mombasa. Any tips with this. As Just You are flying with Kenya Airways on both flights there should not be any problems. Kristine

Yes, looking forward to meeting you. Kristine

Hi Girls

If you do not need a connecting flight you can take two bags with air africa as long as you are withing your limit.

If like me last year you have to fly from another airport to London, you are only allowed one bag. SO

Pack your soft case inside your hard case.

Just put safari clothes etc in the soft bag, and your beach clothes etc in the hard one.

No need to pack a hair dryer they are provided in your room at the beach, and at the reception in the game lodge.

Once you get to mombassa you take your soft bag out of your hard bag and take it with you on the safari bus, You get a ticket for your beach case and leave it at the airport and meet up with it at the hotel.

Your just you rep will tell you this at the airport over here and again over there.

Kristine I am afraid you are going to be very dissapointed about seeing the tigers, as they will be in India. 🙂 But the other animals will be there to make up for it. We were very lucky with Cheeta spotting. With two young cats plopping themselves down at the side of the bus, so close we could nearly touch them from the windows of the bus. Would have lost an arm though :-)

You will have a fantastic time.

Sandra

Thank you for your message. So worried about this volcano that has irrupted. I did ring Just You, and as always so professional. They are playing it one day at a time, but still hoping to go. If the flights are difficult with the volcano then I suppose Angie and will have to go with the flow and re-book it. But it is so, so disappointing. The most I have ever, ever paid for a holiday, but I am trying to be positive that enough air space will be available for us to take off.

Hopefully see you if the hol is not cancelled. Kristine
