Yes I`m booked on this trip. Done this holiday before, it is fantastic!

Bringing my Mother with me this time as a treat for her 60th birthday, she will love it too.

The 8th of March will soon be here. Cant wait!

Yes, I'm booked on this trip too and really looking forward to it as I've always wanted to visit the west coast of the USA. It will be my 3rd holiday with JY. I'm flying from Heathrow.

I'm really looking forward to the trip too. I haven't been to the USA before. A friend of mine went on this trip last year and said it was great. She also mentioned about pre-booking the Alcatraz trip which I will have to look into.

This will be my second trip with JY. I went to China last september which was fantastic. Made some good friends and one of them is coming along on this trip too.

Only 9 weeks to go. When you did this trip before, did you go to Alcatraz? I've been advised to book to go to Alcatraz before the holiday. I wondered which day was the best to go for?

I never went to Alcatraz, most people booked it before we went away because it can be quite popular.

Tuesday would be the best day to book it I think. The included morning tour of San Francisco finished around 12.30 so we have the whole of the afternoon free that day in San Francisco.

So excited yet again, cant wait!

Go on treat yourself this is a wonderful holiday.

Theres 27 booked so far, 20 women and 7 men.

I think there was in and around 40 when I did this holiday before.

As Darren says, go for it. I went on my first trip with JY last september and it was fantastic. I went to China and there were 35 of us, 27 women and 8 men, of varying ages and we all had a great time. I still keep in touch with a small group of them and we are planning to go on another holiday together later in the year.

The weeks seem to be going by quickly now. Are you planning to do the Alcatraz trip?

I dont think I will do the Alcatraz trip.

2 reasons mainly, the first is that we have the afternoon free that day and San Francisco is vast city and needs a lot of looking at. I want to make the most of that afternoon as we are on our way again the following morning. If we had another day in San Francisco I would have done.

Second reason was when I went to South Africa and we got to Cape Town I went to Robben Island and seen Nelson Mandelas cell. So I dont really want to do another prison Island.

I wont be doing the Grand Canyon this time, its a case of been there done that. However I would recommend it, its worth every penny!

Yes the weeks are flying by, as I write this in 7 weeks time we`l be at Universal Studios!!
