Like everyone else I do not have to log in and out of my PC to get to the JY community board or give a password of any kind.

How strange in my old home computer I don't either, but every time in the iPad I have to re enter user name and password..it's tedious, but then again the iPad is just easier..

I am not a techie as such. The reason you might not be able to access the site without login might have something to do with your security settings and cookies (not the edible ones!). Websites store information everytime you log on. I would suggest that you look at your internet security settings on your Ipad to see whether this is allowed. You can just keep passwords and logins for your favourites.

Thanks for the tips Unfortunately my knowledge of cookies op are edible ones so will speak to my sons and see if they can look at settings etc.

Sorry I can't help except to say I use an iPad, have updated ios 7 but haven't had any problems like you describe. Best of luck finding a solution.

OOOOOOOOO if you could that would be just great...I have even asked my young men!!! And they look at me as if I am stupid?..LOL. BTW it was one of then that downloaded the update and created my problem...

I have no problems with having to sign in as like you I don't log out and I use my home laptop and my works pc and they both keep me logged in, so does my kindle fire when I can't be bothered to switch on the laptop and wait for the wifi to kick in ( this tiny kindles much quicker believe it or not )

it may not recognise the user if your using too many devices or your ipads relatively new until it gets used to you using it more regulary, I find this with my bt email as from time to time I will be asked for my log in details

it seems since I did that IOS update or whatever it was the other day, but it's becoming a real pain now as time goes on....I keep going to answer something and it comes up with log in with user and password...BORING LOL... Let's hope it will catch up with me and leave me logged in...
