Lake como September 21
Post: #1
Hi everyone,
I'm booked to go to lake como, lake maggiore and  the Bernina train on the 16th September, this trip has been cancelled twice already, I was just wondering if anyone else is booked the same time as me or have already been on this trip that could let me know what it's like ie hotel, trips etc.
I'm looking forward to this hols as we could all do with a break now so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will go on the green list.
I'm missing my travels and meeting new people.
I'll look forward to chatting to you fellow travellers

Hi Poppie

I, too, have my eye on this holiday however if memory serves me right, UK visitors have to quarantine on arrival for 5 days regardless of their vaccine status? (Could JY confirm?). If that is still the case I cannot see it going ahead, however the situation remains in a state of flux at the moment so fingers crossed it changes.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Marks,

You've hit the nail on the head. At the moment, the rules in Italy are 5-days quarantine on arrival, and at the same time the situation around the world is in flux. Rest assured, our team continue to monitor what is happening both in the UK and overseas.

Don't forget that we have we currently have our Reassurance Guarantee in place to give travellers peace of mind when securing a Just You holiday. Your booking can be amended or cancelled for free. And, it goes without saying that your money is always 100% protected as any money paid to us is held in an independent trust fund. You can find out more about the Reassurance Guarantee here: https://www.justyou.co.uk/about-us/reass...guarantee/

Kindest regards

Julia

Hi! Poppy, I have had my holidays cancelled twice so far, but still hopeful and have booked away for Christmas.
I went on this holiday a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The train is great, and if you get the chance which we did go on the plane flight over the lake taking off and landing on the water, wonderful experience. Good luck with your next booking. Geoff

Hi! Poppy, I've had 2 cancelled so far and have booked to go to Malta at Christmas.
I did the Lake Como holiday a couple of years ago and it was good some interesting places and the Berlina train is fun, also if you get the chance as we did go on the plane flight over the lake which takes off and lands on the water.
I hope you have luck with your next booking. Geoff

Hi Geoff,
Thank you for your reply,
This trip has now been cancelled which is the 3rd time so decided to get a refund which JY was very quick at sorting out for me, I definitely would still love to go on this hols, thought I'd wait and see what happens b4 I rebook this trip, have a lovely Christmas in Malta, I spent Christmas and New year in Malta in 2018, had a lovely time and met some lovely people and still keep in touch with.
