Hello Vickie,
Looking at the new brochure for the Uganda trip I notice there are departures from Ebbsfleet International but I cant see how this works. Is it a meeting point for onward travel to Heathrow or could it be Eurostar to Paris then transfer to the airport. Sorry if I seem a bit stupid but I cant see anywhere that explains it
Thanks Keith

Hi Keith,

Apologies, this is a mistake on the website. It should state: Entebbe International Airport.

This is being fixed and will show correctly very shortly.

Many thanks,
Vickie

Hi Vickie,
Sorry, but I don’t think you’ve answered Keith’s question because there are clearly ‘departures’ from Ebbsfleet International shown in the travel details. So, is Ebbsfleet being used as an optional meeting point for onward travel to LHR or not?
And that’s apart from all the mistakes within the flight information itself. For OUTBOUND (onward) flights from Dubai it shows Ebbsfleet International, and it shows Dubai as a final destination instead of Entebbe International Airport.
Likewise on INBOUND flights it shows Dubai as the original departure airport instead of Entebbe and Ebbsfleet International as the arrival airport instead of Dubai. The onward flight from Dubai to LHR is correct. These errors are repeated on all departure dates.

Maybe you can look at this again.

Many thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

Apologies, I'm not too sure which travel details you mean? The website is now correct and shows as Entebbe International Airport.

You will go from Heathrow and fly straight into Entebbe International Airport.

Many thanks,
Vickie

Hello Vickie,
You are right; the website IS now showing the correct travel details, but at the time I posted my comments (it’s taken 7 working days for my post to appear on this thread) the details were as I’ve described in my earlier post.

The errors that I highlighted on 17th Sept have since been corrected, as you rightly point out, but it’s interesting that you now say that flights from Heathrow will ‘fly straight into Entebbe International Airport’ - which suggests that the flight is direct. The travel details show flights via Dubai, which I’m sure is correct, so I’m a little confused by your statement. Please put me right if I’ve misinterpreted your comment.

Cheers
Mike
