Post: #1
Please could you tell me how many people are going on this holiday.

Also could you recommend how much money I should take

and when should I get any necessary injections or Malaria pills.
Many thanks for your help.

Hi Marypamela,

At the moment there are 20 travellers booked on this date

In terms of money, budgeting is a very personal thing. About half of your meals are included on this trip, so you'll need to budget for food. You should only drink bottled water but this is very cheap and some hotels have a complimentary bottle or two in the hotel room that you can take out with you.

There are some opportunities to buy souvenirs, so it depends on whether you are a postcard and fridge magnet shopper or prefer some of the more decorative items like marble figurines. I have recently returned from India and was shocked at how far my money went... but then I'm a fan of the fridge magnet!

In terms of vaccinations, we would advise you to speak to your GP or practice nurse prior to travel - they have the most up to date information as to what you need based on your medical history. I tend to speak to my practice nurse about 2 months before I travel. You can also review the Fit 4 Travel website which is useful.

I hope you have a wonderful experience in India,

Kindest regards,

Julia

Are you driving to Heathrow and parking? I'm a bit concerned about the way home as we will be very tired after a 9 hour flight. I may stay in a hotel on that night..
Also worried about what clothes to bring. Any Ideas?

Hi,
I guess I make 21 :-)  Just booked on today.
I have been on Just your tours several times before - This is my fifth, I guess that means they must be very good at what they do!!
I am travelling all the way from Devon - probably travel up by the early coach on Thursday morning which gets in around 3pm.  There won't be one going back at the time we land, so will probably stay in the Heathrow Travelodge as it is an easy walk to the tube / train / coaches.
I guess a few of us will be people who work in education taking advantage of the Easter break - the dates are perfect for this.
I look forward to meeting you all.  Can't wait to get going now!...
Andrew

Hi Andrew
Yes I am also working in education and when I saw the dates I thought I’d go for it. First time with Just you and first time on my own so hence the nerves. I’m coming from Wolverhampton so I’ll drive down to Heathrow and I’ll probably stay in a hotel on our return as I don’t think I’ll fancy driving after that 9 hour flight.
I had my injections on Monday - no turning back now!
Jo
