Hello there - I have just received all the information about my forthcoming holiday for a trip I have always wanted to do! I have been travelling with Just You for many years now and am looking forward to what I am sure will be another good and happy experience. I am conscious that it will be fairly hectic and a lot of living out of a suitcase but that's ok! Just not sure what to pack - weather, temperatures, walking, coach travel, eating out etc. are all factors. Any advice gratefully received, and it would be good to hear from any other JY travellers who will be on this holiday. Look forward to meeting you soon.

I did this tour at the same time last year the weather was a bit of everything I am afraid, so go for layers, a light fleece and a light shower jacket, I tended to leave when possible the fleece and jacket on the coach. Comfy shoes are a must. if you haven't read my review have a look it might give you more information..great tour many things to see and do. Any questions just ask

Cindy

Hi Shelia

I'm also booked in this trip and I too got my documents today. This tour has 2 places on my bucket list. New York and Canada. Really looking forward to it now. I'll be flying down from manchester so I may see you at Heathrow. Don't think we have access to a lounge so I'm not sure if we will be meeting up anywhere. I won't see the Rep at check in so I'll probably see you at the gate

Are you doing the New York add on?

Paul

Hello All,

This is Linda I am your Tour Manager for this trip.  I shall already be in Canada but I will meet you all in the arrivals hall at Toronto.  Please look for the JUST YOU sign, with me underneath it!!!
You may have lounge access in Heathrow, but suggest you check your paperwork to be sure.
Have a good trip and I look forward to meeting you very soon.

I will also be taking you on to New York.

Hello everyone (this is my first post to the Community, though this trip will be my 4th with JY)
I'm really looking forward to meeting you all, some at HR and Linda plus others in Toronto. I'm flying from Heathrow and have just received the lounge voucher with the luggage labels. Thanks for asking the question about what to take, Sheila, and the helpful replies. Another question from me, do I need to pack the Jungle Formula? I went to Banff in the Rockies a few years ago and was eaten alive by the local mosquitoes. Admittedly that was in August and this will be much later in the year but there will be a lot of water around(!). But hopefully I can leave the JF behind. See you all very soon. Judy

Hello Judith, I have not had any of my guests who needed Jungle Formula as the weather will be a little cooler and midges have not been a problem in previous years. As suggested, layers are best to pack as weather can be changeable.
Enjoy the lounge at Heathrow and meet some of your fellow passengers.
I look forward to seeing you on Monday.
Linda
