Hi Julie,

For the America's Heart and Soul - Chicago to New Orleans trip in November there are 12 confirmed travellers and 1 provisional traveller booked.

I hope this information helps with your decision,

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hello Julie,
I am an extra to this booking as I booked on 27th December on Mick's advice- see his thread on Kingston Mines which I believe is a Blues club that is on the Chicago part of the tour.
Guess the tour is so popular, still have 10 months to go Smile
Jan.

Well Mick,

I was intrigued and thought I'd have a bit of a look and I can confirm that it is NOT a record.

But, I also took a quick look at all the dates for this tour and it's proving to be a very popular tour for 2014.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Julia,
Speaking personally one of the big attractions on top of it been 4 great music cities is the fact that all the hotels are in the city centres and walkable to many places.
Often on touring holidays the hotels are on the outskirts of town which isn't always great if you want to find live music on an evening.
Well done to JY for picking ood hotels.
Mick

On the back of that answer ...can you tell us WHAT was the record then? Be nice to get some stats now and again.

I am always one of the 1st to book a tour I like to be very organised with my JY tours,

Mick - it sounds like this tour has ticked a few of your boxes, I'd really like to hear your review of it when you return.

Well Cindy, I didn't check all of the holidays, but of the ones I looked at National Parks, Mount Rushmore and Little Bighorn was a runaway leader in terms of bookings on a holiday 10 months away. And, now that you've said it, I might try and find out a few stats for you....

Kindest regards,

Julia

Julia,
Yes it certainly has ticked my boxes its a trip I've wanted to make for a long time.
The big bonus is the location of the hotels, JY have down a great job picking city centres walkable to loads of places. As I've said before I know Chicago very well and love the place have also previously been to St Louis & Memphis and both are good fun. New Orleans is very high on my to do list.

Just noticed another plus is that we are in memphis saturday night, best time ever on Beale street on a sat.

Looks like those already booked and using the forum are in similar mindset to me so reckon the review will be a good read.
Mick.

ps: you should join us, Thumbs Up

Hi Mick,

I really do hope you have a great time!

I'd love to join the group!! I had a great time in Chicago when I visited and New Orleans is a destination that is on my 'to do' list. Sadly, my travel plans for 2014 don't include North America.
