Good morning one and all!
Another thread for you to have your say and directly influence some new holidays here!
We have had numerous mentions of short city tours as a possible holiday from you, so this is something we are looking into a little bit more.
What I would like to know from you is what destinations would you be likely to book for a 3 to 4 day city break?
Remember - we always listen to you!
Have a great Thursday all
Will

Hi Will,
Great idea! However, I've travelled most of Europe so for me that rules out a lot of the short hop destinations. I do still have a couple of suggestions: Helsinki, Talinn and running the short Iceland holiday at a couple of dates during the year. I tried to persuade some friends to go on the JY Istanbul city break this year, but they said it was too expensive - any chance it could be made a bit cheaper? They went on the JY Paris break last year (without me!) and enjoyed it. We are going to Lisbon next month (booked before the JY tour was announced) for a few days and I think it should be a good city destination with Belem, Sintra and Cascais within easy reach, as well as Lisbon being quite scenic in its own right (as it appears to be from the photos I've seen). Other destinations could be Dubrovnik (but I want to see more of Croatia and also Montenegro, so I don't think I'd do this one myself), New York, Rome and how about Marrakesh?
Anyhow these are just a couple of suggestions to get the ball rolling.
Best of luck!
Bob

Hi Will,
Brilliant
European i suggest: Paris, Berlin, Rome, Prague, Budapest, and Vienna. I know you do a holiday encompassing 3 Budapest, vienna and Prague however in my opinion they're not long enough.
Cheers
Mark

Hi Will,
Several years ago Just You did a Treasures of Rome tour. I would be one of the first to book if you brought it back. I have been on the Classic Cities of Italy tour but there was so little time in Rome that I would love to go back and spend more time there.
Trish.

Hi Will
New York is always good for a 3 or 4 night break and will be popular i'm sure, also citys like Barcelona Madrid Marrakesh Rome places like Iceland Finland and Sweden, maybe some cities around the world or especially europe which are not normally included on most of the tours, i am always up to visiting somewhere completely different or remote as well as all the places bob mentions
regards
Dave

Hi Will
I am put off the City tours as most of them seem to go from Gatwick and I live 'up North'
But I would love to go to Krakow [but not on a weekend re stag parties]
To see the salt mine etc etc but mainly to visit Auschwitz
You could have different departure airports -see Riviera Travel for ideas

Hi Will,
Although I've been to them before on a day trip, I would like to go to them again and spend a few days there seeing the sights missed and getting to know the place. They are Iceland and Isle of Man.
Regards
Eric
