NEW/REVISED TRIPS - Sue Southampton - 13/12/2014 YOU WERE SAYING IN YOUR EMAIL ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE WOULD OR TWEAK AN OLDER ONE. I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO A SAFARI HOLIDAY THAT GOES TO A LESSER KNOW COUNTRY IN AFRICA AND SPEND THE WHOLE TRIP ON A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT PARKS. I WENT TO KENYA BUT ALTHOUGH I LOVED THE SAFARI I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO HAVE SPENT ALL THE TIME THERE PERHAPS GOING TO A SMALLER PARK AS WELL. I DID NOT ENJOY THE MOMBASSA PART OF THE TRIP. AGAIN I AM GOING TO ST LUCIA NEXT YEAR BUT WOULD HAVE PREFERRED ONE OF THE LESSER KNOW ISLANDS. IT SEEMS AS IF EVERYONE GOES TO ST LUCIA, OR AT IF I MENTION I AM GOING THERE NEXT YEAR THEY SAY THAT THEY HAVE BEEN THERE AS WELL. I WANT TO BE DIFFERENT!!! THANKS AND REGARDS SUE SOUTHAMPTON RE: NEW/REVISED TRIPS - nixon - 16/12/2014 Sue I am totally with you in the safari tour, like you I have done Kenya plus add on, my dream would be a really great safari tour...then an option either to come home or relax for a while!... By the way Sue did you know that when you post in capital letters it's either to make a point or to show your shouting, so I think your really getting you point across in this posting. Cindy RE: NEW/REVISED TRIPS - wharole - 18/12/2014 I agree with Sue's comments above about a safari holiday going to different parks or areas where the possibility of seeing different animals/experiences. It is the reason why I am considering South Africa again and I have been to Kenya as well. I know Just You are considering some countries from other postings on the forum and there does seem to be a real demand. Is there likely to be anything for 2015? Thanks I went on the Costa Rica/Nicaragua one when it was previewed in a leaflet in January with 3 other holidays for that September. Had a really good time. RE: NEW/REVISED TRIPS - JY Will - 18/12/2014 Hi there, there won't be any new Safari holidays for 2015. But we are already busy working on new holidays for 2016! RE: NEW/REVISED TRIPS - nixon - 19/12/2014 Will Here's hoping for 2016.. I don't have time for a big one next year LOL.... Whereas lower-case letters -- because of what are technically called ‘ascenders’ [like the ‘extended ‘stems’ of the ‘b’ and ‘h’], and ‘descenders’ [as in the ‘tails’ of the ‘g’ and ‘y’ for examples] -- give words a distinctive shape which allows one’s eyes to recognise and absorb it instantly to such an extent that most people can scan and quickly take in a whole line of text which you just cannot do with block capitals. as you see, i’ve gone back and changed all the capitals in the above to provide an instant example. i’ll resist the temptation to add a copy all in caps! And that last character [the exclamation-mark] is the only one I couldn’t use without pressing the shift key. note the use of square brackets. of course i don’t mean to sound patronising and you might be interested in others’ views if anyone cares to offer them. but i defy anyone to return to your original post and say they could find no difference. i’ll get my coat..... RE: NEW/REVISED TRIPS - RosieMo - 29/12/2014 Mike - totally off topic (sorry!) but - have you ever read the book "A prayer for Owen Meaney"? ('nuff said ...) So a more brief answer then: No. :-) |
