Hello,

Just wondered if this was a good time to go, weather wise etc.

Also can you tell if anyone else has booked this trip yet?

Hi JPL,

Weather-wise October is a great time to go, if you don't like the weather to be too hot. Temperatures on average are around 13-20 degrees Celsius, but it's still dry as there are only around 4 days of rain in October.

There are 15 people booked on this trip so far, 5 men and 10 women. Their ages range from late 40s to early 80s.

Many thanks

Vickie

This was my first JustYou tour in October 2011.

I contacted the Wyoming tourist information and they thought it was late in the year for Yellowstone but, while the weather was cold in South Dakota, which added to the Badlands experience. When we got to Little Big Horn, it was a warm and sunny morning. After lunch in Billings, driving towards Cody, the clouds over Yellowstone looked ominous and the was snow overnight, but, it was a sunny day in the Park. We were told later that the road to Jackson was blocked, but, we stayed in West Yellowstone and it had cleared the next day. Jackson was cold, but, from then, the rest of the tour was in warmer weather.

Thanks VIcki, Turnke and SylviaJ for the replies and advice.

I don't mind the cold and I always sit near the back of the coach anyway, so that would not be an issue.

However, being in a group of 40 would not be ideal.

Can Vickie please confirm the maximum group of 35 is strictly adhered to as indicated on the "YOUR HOLIDAY AT A GLANCE" page

Regards

James

Hi James,

Yes, I have been advised by our holiday organisers that the maximum group size will be 35.

Many thanks,
