Hi Elisa,

Thanks for the update - it is great to hear that the hotel is taking this seriously. I really loved this holiday and could easily be tempted to go back if things improved at the hotel, as there is still much of this area that I would like to explore more.

I am still awaiting a reply to my email sent directly to JY on the rude and disorganised TM on this trip to Croatia. It was the TM that could have greatly improved this holiday by organising a more suitable time to eat and also arrange to have tap water placed on the tables.

Hi She123 and Itisme,

I have spoken with our customer service team who have advised me that they have been following up on all of the customer responses that have come in regarding this tour. I understand that they now have collated all the information they require to respond to those who have been in touch us and you will be contacted shortly.

Whilst we are still within ABTA guidelines in the time taken to respond to date, this has taken longer than we would like and we are sorry for the delay.

Hi,

May I ask if all these problems have been ironed out? I'm hoping to take this trip but I haven't seen any later reviews since the hotel was changed. I don't know if next month is the first trip since last June or not.

Apologies if there are further reviews but I haven't spotted them!

Hi Anne. 

I haven't seen any new reviews since the hotel was changed this year to the Hotel Croatia.  The itinerary has been tweaked slightly which is good, as the trip to Mostar is now not on the last day. 

It's a shame there have been no new reviews to give potential customers guidance, but a lot of JY users do not use the forum, which again is a shame.  I hope you do decide to give the trip a go at some point.  It's a lovely area which I hope to visit again some time, but probably not with JY as the Hotel Croatia does not suit me mobility wise.

Hello everyone,

I did this trip in May and loved it.I hadnt been to a 5* hotel before so had nothing to compare Hotel Croatia to.It is a very large hotel and i imagine in summer it gets very busy.Just You rooms have a sea view and are very nice,the food is ok you could always find something to eat.The staff were always friendly .If you do all the trips you will only have one free day in Cavtat which is a shame as its a beautiful town.There are a lot of steps to town but you can always get the golf buggy up or down,again in summer i expect this gets very busy.The Mostar trip is a long day but worth doing.I would visit this area again.

Thanks for your comments, I hope to do this tour at some stage over the next few years so it is great to hear how much you enjoyed it and that the new hotel is fine.  Well done to JY for listening to customers' comments and taking swift action!
