Hi Mick!

Just been looking at your photos. Thanks, brought it all back. Want to go on another tour. Definitely want to go on the Texas tour next September, probably the 29th. Also want to do the America's Historic Trail, maybe the year after.

Take care

Dawn,

Glad you enjoyed the photos.

Definately the two trips you mention are on my radar along with a few others. Will be making a few decisions after christmas but hope to do at least one long haul next year but probably more.

Hi Mick.....

Funny you should mention that - my colleague who looks after the Facebook page had clocked the link to your album and was wondering if I could get your permission to create an album on our page???

Kindest regards,

Julia

Found myself on one of the pictures on Facebook so I tagged myself. I have booked Flanders next May, would love to do the walking tour of Nice and the tour of Italy with Sicily.

Finally got round to posting a review on last years super trip. The itinery was spot on and facilitated by a brilliant tour manager. The live music opportunities were breath taking.Would highly recommend, so good in fact that I might do it again.

Hi Mick!

Been reading your blog, its really good. I can't believe we did so much. It was a really good holiday, one of the best I've done with J U. The only complaint I've got was the hotel in New Orleans. It was so far out. When I went with Newmarket last year, we stayed in the French quarter which was so handy. Would have been nice to spend more time at night in Bourbon Street. Being a singles holiday, I don't think it was right for us to be so far out, having to get taxis in and out. That was a disappointment.

I eventually got home just after 6 pm as I had to wait at Heathrow as my flight back to Manchester was only 3.20 pm. Then the journey back home took one and a half hours, instead of 40 minutes due to the M6 being closed. It was a very long journey home. Probably could have walked home quicker.

It was good to meet you, and that you got people together on the first night as you knew where to go. I'm still looking at the Texas holiday for next September.

Here's to 2015 for another year of adventure!

Dawn K

Hi Dawn,

Yes was good to meet you and reckon been on a holiday like this will have given you a birthday to remember.

Thought it a nice crowd of people always felt confortable talking to anyone which is important when shy like me

Did panic a bit in Chicago when the first pub i'd planned was packed to the rafters but think plan B worked well.

I like the look of the texas holiday (plus a few others) but if i do it not sure it would be September. Going to look more deeply into next years plans in the New Year.

Take care

Mick

Hi Dawn. You may remember I was on the same flight but was full of a cold. My onward journey was problematic too as the M56 had a problem. Did you book on the Texas trip. Regards Russell Kerfoot

Hi there!

Yes I've booked the Texas trip for 15th September. I've paid the balance so it's definitely going ahead. I 'm really looking forward to it, nine weeks today actually. Again so many highlights. The trip last year was great, hope this is as good. I'd like to go back to New Orleans and Chicago. I'm looking at going on the Historic Trail holiday next September. I've been to Nashville before but none of the other places on the itinerary, particularly interested in Washington.

Hope you enjoy the New England holiday, that's also on my list.

All the best

Dawn

Hi Russell,

Yes thats a holiday on my radar but not this year as sort of booked up. Have been to Nashville but not the grand ole opry and Washington is on my "to do" list.

Am currently in Mallorca on a chill out holiday but not with any company as such. Also got 5 night city breaks sorted in Berlin (august) and Madrid (Oct). Also in Oct is my big one for this year to Cuba with just you.

Don't get season ticket as too many weekend commitments but hope to get to around 10 home games, usually sit in east stand which believe is opposite you.

Got good feeling about this season your ticket could be an investment.

Take care

Mick
