While perusing the latest brochure I came across the following in the entry for Canada & New England:  "Please note: To maximise the enjoyment of this holiday a certain amount of walking in a group is required."   I'm intrigued because I've never seen it for any holiday, including this one, before.   Did someone get lost and get into difficulties on a previous departure, keeping everyone else hanging around for ages?   Could you please enlighten me?

While writing, I don't usually ask but could you please let me know how many are in the group departing on 18 June and, if possible, the name of the TM?

Many thanks.

Hi Ann,

We've included a walking statement in the main brochures for at least a year, on smaller brochures there is usually a line mention on the back cover. This was added to help travellers pick which tour is right for them... if you look at some of the other tours you will find there are some different statements.

As for your upcoming trip, there are 13 travellers booked, 4 men and 9 women. The Tour Manager that has been provisionally allocated to this tours is Kim Valencia.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Thanks for this Julia. Yes, I have seen the "walking statements" before about rough ground, a reasonable level of fitness etc etc but never spotted one about walking in a group, which is why I was intrigued.

Thanks for the information on numbers and TM - I think I've heard good things about Kim Valencia in the past so it should be a good holiday.
