You're right - £228 can't possibly be correct! I've had a look at this tour on the site, and all seems ok now - our New England and New York tour is £1719 for 9 days, and the departure date we have available is 06/10/08.
I would assume that in the upload of the new departure date, the price was affected and displayed incorrectly on the site. Sorry for any inconvenience!
This tour does look fantastic though - and i imagine the foliage in New England in the fall would be splendid.
