I was looking at booking the Prague trip late September but have been put off a bit by peoples comments on their experiences in the hotels etc ...The other place I was looking at was the highlights of Tuscany .

I have been on a JY holiday before a couple of years ago I did the Canadian Rockies tour and loved it 🙂.

If anyone could let me know what either of those holidays was like,

it would be much appreciated.

I have been to Prague but not with JY so I cannot comment on the JY tour. I have been on the Tuscany tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! it isn't to hectic! but there is lots to see and do, I am sure I would of posted a review so have a look in that section? this is a very popular tour the rep was Johnathon if you get him he is very good and looks after the group. hotel right by the beach, the staff are really friendly and good fun. I did not do the boat trip as I am not a lover of the sea! I spent the day in the local village which is a stroll away and went to the sun deck at the top of the hotel. If I can help with anything else just ask...

I haven't been on the Prague, Vienna and Budapest trip but, although there were one or two comments about a not-very-good hotel, I think if you go into the Search section and put the holiday in you will find that there have also since been ones to the effect that the hotel which caused the problems has been changed. If these cities are ones you really want to see, I wouldn't let one less-than-perfect hotel put you off.

As to the Highlights of Tuscany holiday, I did this in 2011 (I think) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Again, if you enter "Tuscany" in the Search section you will find a host of comments on it - and I am sure Cindy will come back to you on this one as she did it the year after me.

I went on this tour which used the new hotel which is much better. It is nearer the city centre, has excellent rooms although the dinners were not great - not much choice. However, this was just a minor issue in what was a marvellous trip. Go for it - you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the info I am either going to go on this trip or the Texas and New Orleans trip ... To many places I want to go to lol just got to make a decision now .
