I am going on the weekend to Lille/Bruges on the 4th October. I have just discovered that an additional excursion has been added to this trip which was not advertised in the brochure.
It is to Ypres. I was hoping we were going to get a tour of Lille but it looks like that is not going to happen.
I was wondering if anyone who is going to Lille on the 4th is planning on staying in Lille on Day2 instead of doing the optional excursions.
I am very nervous now because I want to see Lille but don't look forward to being left to my own devices especially when my French is limited.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone is planning on touring Lille
