Hi

Is anyone going on the Canada & New England in the Fall 2 Oct 2013 and flying from Manchester?

Be great to chat to anyone going 🙂

I leave from Heathrow on 30th September. Must be a popular tour with departures so close together.

Hi JeanL

Look forward to meeting you on the 2nd - have you pre booked any trips?

I'm not sure how much Canadian and American dollars to take with me, have you any idea?

Take care

Hope to hear from you soon

Hi Tracy I have booked the Laurantin Mountains, Cape Cod and New York by Night. They were the only three I could pre book. Not sure how much to take with me as the other trips have to paid for when we get there. I think I will take a mkixture of Canadian and US dollars but when I was previously in Canada you could spend your US dollars there. Apparently in New York the Statten island Ferry is free and you get a good view of the statue of Liberty from there also a good view point is the Rockafella Tower in New York, one of my colleagues gave me a few tips.

Hi Jean

Thanks for the tips on the excursions - I'll get booking:)

Do you know whether we have to recheck our baggage at Newark airport?

Take care

Hi Tracy

I contacted Just You and I dont think the luggage will be through booked to Boston the lady at Just You says we dont have to go through passport control again as it will be a local flight from Newark to Boston.

I expect you got the letter to say we are now flying with American Airlines.

Hi Tracy

I am on the above trip, just thinking about which trips to book and amount of money to take. Look forward to meeting you.

Hi, Yes I'm flying 2/10 too! The holiday has come round frighteningly quickly. So looking forward to it. Perhaps I'll see you at the airport before we fly - I'll be looking out for anyone with 'just you' luggage labels.[/font]

that's the only bit of the journey that I'm a bit worried about - getting from one plane to another in a strange airport - never done that before but I'm sure we'll be fine.
