Would like to get some advice on money for Vietnam & Cambodia - going March 2013 - can't wait !!! Am planning to take US Dollars. Any advice on the cost of things while there would be great - e.g - soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, taxi transport etc.

You will get by happily with small denomination US$ notes (preferably in mint condition). Everything is very cheap. However it may be helpful to take a few dong if you wish to be a millionaire as there are 33,000 to the pound sterling.
