I am going on the same holiday to Venice and Lake Garda on June 5 07 from Manchester. My first holiday on my own too - excited and nervous at the same time . Good to know someone else feels the same way. So we both now know the name of at least one other person taking the plunge.

Just seen your reply re Venice trip 5th June. Will see you at Manchester Airport then. Really looking forward to it now, though still nervous.
