I`m going on this holiday and was also wondering if the unrest in France would affect us. I guess whatever happens is out of our hands as is the weather....we`re having heavy incessant rain at present in my area of Scotland and it seems that the same is going to happen in Toulouse within the next few days. So the umbrella will be the first thing packed I think!! Great to learn that the group is so big and varied in age.

Great to hear from you and that you are also travelling from Scotland. Which part are you in? I am going down from Inverness the day before and staying overnight on Thursday.

Yes I am finding packing a bit of a problem so am probably taking far too much to cover all eventualities. Hope it doesn't rain too much! I've stopped worrying about the French situation now as I am sure it will all be fine.

I live near Ayr so will take a flight from Glasgow to Heathrow on friday morning.

I usually need to stay in London before and often after holidays so it`s great that flight times are convenient for me this time.

Yes packing isnt easy as summer seems to have left the south of France too...though it may return for us! Really looking forward to the break whatever the weather
