Is anyone who is going on this trip, staying the night before at Heathrow? I am flying down from Edinburgh the day before.

I was flying down from Glasgow but due to BMI stopping their flights I'll now be flying from Edinburgh on the Sunday. I think my flight is somewhere between 2 and 3 - can't quite remember what they told me! I haven't booked a hotel in Heathrow yet - where have you booked?- it would be nice to meet up the day before if we can!

That's a nuisance about BMI stopping Glasgow flights. I am flying from Edinburgh on the Tuesday 6th at 2.25pm and the flight back up to Edinburgh on the 17th is at 4.35pm. I haven't booked the hotel at Heathrow either, I stayed at the Premier Inn (Bath Road) the last time and it was ok, I think I might just book there again. What are you planning on doing? It would be good to meet up the day before.

I think we are on the same flights to Heathrow and back - so we could probably meet at Edinburgh airport. We would just need to organise the same hotel at Heathrow for the night, I don't mind where I stay as long as it has a bed to sleep on! Let me know once you've booked and if you are ok with this I will book the same hotel !

I have booked the Premier Inn (Bath Road) for the night before, I stayed there my last trip and it was ok, not far from airport terminal. Yes I am going on this trip on April 7th. I am staying at the Travelodge, Heathrow Central on the night before. It's very cheap at £32.50. I have stayed here before and although very basic, it's really clean and serves the purpose. There is a bar and they also serve good meals.

I have also stayed at the Premier Inn Bath Road and it's also comfortable but twice the price. There is a Hoppa Bus service from Travelodge which take about 5-10 mins straight to the terminals

Anyway, about the holiday. I am very excited as only just under 5 weeks to go. Very much looking forward to getting some sunshine!

My flights down to Heathrow have been changed back to Glasgow again! Although it leaves at roughly the same time as the Edinburgh one - I am presuming that my flight will be with British Airways and will hopefully be into Heathrow around the same time. I have booked a room at the Premier Inn on Bath Road, so if you are willing we could perhaps meet up for dinner at the hotel?

I posted a reply to you a few days ago, but don't know what happened, it hasn't appeared.

Anyway thats good your flight is back to Glasgow again, it will save you a lot of hassle. I arrive in Heathrow at 15.50 so should be at the hotel for about 5pm, It would be really good to meet for dinner.

I am getting excited now, not long to wait, 3 weeks on Wednesday and counting!!
