The reason I would use a Facebook page as suggested by Bob is that he said a CLOSED group.  That way it's not open for just anyone to see, as is the current page (understandable as it's a marketing page too), but only JY customers who have a booking could access it. The current Facebook page and forum are fine but both are open to anyone so I'm always careful what information I give.

I would just like to say that since we've had Vickie as moderator our posts seem to be getting answered quickly and that, with all due respect to some of Vickie's predecessors (not you Julia ?) is a great improvement.

Oh dear, it looks like many people have misunderstood what I was suggesting - merely a FB community to complement this one, as many JY travellers don't use this forum and yet use Facebook.  I didn't suggest that a FB forum should replace this one!  I still think there is room for both - and if you don't use Facebook, then you could of course continue to use this forum!

I’d be fully in favour of a closed FB forum. I think it would complement this one well, as you say running along side this one. I think it would be a lot easier to share photos etc via fb.

I did go on the FB JY Page and there is more life going on than in the past, so thanks for high lighting that for me. I will keep and eye on it from now.

Hello everyone

I personally am not a Facebook user and would not use it either.  I should have a look at Just You FB page one day to see what is there!   I prefer the Forum where posts are moderated.
