We have just had a tour in the area and the Tour Manager gave us some feedback.

So while there is an influx of people entering the country, they are leaving just as swiftly. If you happened to be at the port when a ship arrived, you would see groups being coached away but holiday makers shouldn't experience problems while they are away.

So the second (political) thread of today. My friend wants to do the JY tour to Sicily, however is worried giving the current Mediterranean crisis and the influx of 'boat people', has JY or any travellers experienced any other problems. She is worried about begging/harassment....
