Hi Julia,

Thanks for the info, just what i wanted to hear

Regards

Steve

Hi Steve,

This year to date we have taken four groups to Egypt without any issues (one with Just You and three with Travelsphere). We are in regular contact with our agent in the area, who looks after our passengers and will act to change the itinerary if needed.

The serious problems happened in the non tourist areas of Alexandria and Port Said and only localized areas of Cairo. We don't visit Alexandria and Port Said, and what we've found is that Tahrir Square (Cairo) has become a place of interest that customers want to visit.

Our groups are always accompanied by a tour manager and local guide and although we do visit Cairo, the main tour itinerary is on the Nile.

In terms of Sharm el Sheikh (for the add-on) these stays are hotel based with only a few optional excursions and have not been affected.

If we were in any doubt about the safety of our customers, we would not operate these tours.

Kindest regards,

Julia
